Panel fence posts, fixings and wind
In a panel fence, the panels are fixed to the posts with clamps. On soil, the post is set in concrete; on concrete ground or on top of a wall, a flanged post is fixed with anchor bolts. The number of posts, corner posts and gate posts is calculated on the Panel Fence Post page.
If grass fence or PVC strips will be added to the panel, choose the post section and its concrete footing accordingly; on long, tall lines, check that the posts are sturdy.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between 2D and 3D panel fence?
A 3D panel fence has horizontal V-bends. A 2D panel fence is a flat panel without V-bends, with two wires in each horizontal row. 3D is used for home gardens and around residential complexes and facilities; 2D for schools, sports grounds, parks and facility perimeters.
How do I choose the height of a panel fence?
Panels 120 cm high are used to mark a front garden boundary without blocking the view, 150 cm at a garden boundary shared with a neighbor, and 200 cm around factories, warehouses and sports grounds. If the standard size does not fit, Custom Size Panel Fence is chosen.
How is the back of a panel fence screened?
PVC Fence Privacy Strip is woven through the panel mesh, or a grass fence is tied onto the panel. Both can be added to an existing fence later.

How is a panel fence installed on sloping terrain?
