Product description

The support of a panel fence

Panel Fence Post is the box section set between panels, to which the panels are attached with clamps. The post determines the fence's line, height and resistance to wind. However good the panel is, a bent post spoils the whole line.

The post is a 50x50 mm box section with a 1.5 mm wall and is oven-painted. Post lengths are 100 cm, 120 cm, 150 cm, 200 cm and 240 cm.

Panel fence post length and types

  • In-ground post: Set in concrete; its length is the panel height plus the burial depth.
  • Flanged post: Fixed with anchors on concrete or on top of a wall; its length equals the panel height.
  • Spacing: Post spacing is 250 cm; if the panel width is different, the spacing equals it.
  • Position: Line post, corner post and gate post.

How many posts do you need?

On a straight line, you need one more post than the number of panels. Add one more post for each corner and two gate posts for each gate. If a gap is left at the end of the line, it is closed with Custom Size Panel Fence and one more post is needed.

On soil, the post is set in concrete; we decide the burial depth together based on the ground and wind. On concrete or on top of a wall, a flanged post is fixed with anchors. For gates, see the Panel Fence Gate page. We provide Panel Fence Installation in all 81 provinces of Türkiye. For a quote, reach us through our contact page.

Using and installing Panel Fence Post

  1. Work out the number

You need one more post than the number of panels. Add one for each corner and two for each gate.

  2. Choose the length

On soil, add the burial depth to the panel height; on concrete and on top of walls, a flanged post equals the panel height.

  3. State the ground

In-ground posts are used on soil; flanged posts on concrete and on top of walls.

  4. Check the alignment

Set the two end posts first, stretch a string between them and align the line posts to it. Do not attach panels before the concrete has set.

Care: Check the clamp bolts once a year. Cover scratched paint with touch-up paint.

The burial depth depends on the ground, panel height and wind. Give us the ground type and height at the quotation stage, and we will decide the depth together.

Yes. Posts are supplied separately for repairing or extending your existing panel fence. Just give us the length, the type (in-ground or flanged) and the color.
