The 3D Panel Fence is a welded wire panel with horizontal V-folds. It is used for home gardens and around residential complexes and facilities. The wire diameter is 4 mm and the mesh size is 50x150 mm; powder coating is applied over galvanized wire.

Welded wire panel with V-folds

The 3D Panel Fence is a welded wire panel with V-folds; the vertical and horizontal wires are joined at every point where they cross. It takes its name from the horizontal V-folds that run along the panel. These folds give the panel depth: seen from the side, it is not a flat grid but a surface with recesses and ridges. There are 2 to 4 V-folds, depending on panel height.

It is used for home gardens, around residential complexes and factories, in parks and in parking lots.

How does 3D Panel Fence work?

The vertical and horizontal wires are welded at every point where they cross. Horizontal V-folds are then formed along the panel. On site, the panel attaches to the post with clamps; the panels follow one another along the run.

Using and installing 3D Panel Fence

  1. Measure the line

    Measure the line the fence will follow in meters. Note the corners, gate positions and sloped sections separately.

  2. Choose the height

    Choose the height for the fence's job: a low divider, a front yard, a side or rear boundary, or a facility perimeter.

  3. Work out the number of panels and posts

    On a straight run, the number of panels is the run length divided by the panel width, rounded up. You need one more post than panels; corner and gate posts are added separately.

  4. Specify the ground type

    On soil, posts are set in concrete. On a concrete base, flanged posts are fixed with anchors. State the ground type in your quote request.

Care: Clean the painted surface with water and a soft brush. Cover any paint scratched during installation with touch-up paint.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a 3D panel fence and a 2D panel fence?

A 3D panel has horizontal V-folds and single wires. A 2D panel has no folds; each horizontal row has two wires with the vertical wire welded between them. The wires used in a 2D panel are thicker.

How many meters of fence does one panel cover?

The panel width is 250 cm. Divide the run length by the panel width and round up to get the number of panels. Post width changes the calculation very little.

What are the wire diameter and mesh size?

On the 3D panel, the wire diameter is 4 mm and the mesh size is 50x150 mm. The panel width is 250 cm; standard heights are 100 cm, 120 cm, 150 cm and 200 cm.

Can grass fence be fitted on a panel fence?

Yes. If grass fence is attached to the inside face of the panel, the area behind it is hidden. If you choose grass fence of the same height as the panel, it will not stick out at the top or leave a gap at the bottom.
