Product description

A short module for low dividers inside the garden

75x75cm Panel Fence is a short wire panel module, 75 cm high and 75 cm wide. The first number in the product name is the height and the second is the width. This is a custom size, outside the standard panel sizes. It organizes the inside of the garden rather than its outer edge: it separates the flower bed from the lawn, the vegetable garden from the play area and the garden path from planted areas.

The main advantage of the short module is how it follows a line. A curved bed edge or the area around a tree base can be enclosed with 75 cm pieces, leaving fewer gaps than a wide panel. The panels are carried by hand and one person can set them out.

What a 75 cm panel does not do

This height is not enough for the outer boundary of a garden; an adult can easily step over it. It is not used to protect children around a pool. For the outer boundary, see the 120x250 cm Panel Fence or 150x250 cm Panel Fence pages. Panel types are on the panel fence page.

If you want a low fence along a long, straight line, a 250 cm wide panel of the same height is supplied depending on the project. For a quote, send us the total line length and any curved sections through our contact page.

What is 75x75cm Panel Fence used for?

  • Organizes the garden

Separates the flower bed, vegetable garden and walkway from each other.

  • Fits curved lines

Short modules with a 75 cm panel width follow curved lines such as beds and tree bases.

  • 4 mm wire

Wire diameter 4 mm, mesh size 50x150 mm.

  • Carried by hand

Short panels are carried by hand and can be set out by one person.

How does 75x75cm Panel Fence work?

Short panels are set along the line and attached to short posts with clamps where they meet. On a curved line, each panel sits at a small angle to the one before; the curve is traced in short straight segments.

  • 75 cm height Panel height Listed in the product specifications; the first number in the product name.
  • 75 cm width Line length covered by one module Listed in the product specifications; the second number in the product name.
  • 50x150 mm mesh Wire spacing Mesh size listed in the product specifications.

How 75x75cm Panel Fence differs from standard products

TopicOrdinary productThis product
Curved lineA wide panel leaves gaps at the corners of a curved edge. A short module follows the curve more closely.
HandlingCarrying a wide panel takes two people. Short panels are carried by hand and one person can set them out.
Outer boundaryThe outer boundary needs a tall panel. This product is for low dividers inside the garden.

Using and installing 75x75cm Panel Fence

  1. Mark the line

Mark the edge of the area you want to divide on the ground with a string or a hose, and measure its length.

  2. Work out the modules

Divide the line length by the panel width and round up. You need one more post than the number of modules.

  3. Set the posts

Set the short posts firmly in the soil; in planted areas, take care not to damage roots.

  4. Attach the panels

Attach the panels to the posts with clamps.

Care: Clean the coated surface with water and a soft brush. Cover scratches from garden tools with touch-up paint.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does 75x75 mean?

The first number is the panel height and the second is the panel width, in centimeters: 75 cm high and 75 cm wide.

Can I use it for the outer boundary of my garden?

We do not recommend it. This height is low enough for an adult to step over easily. For the outer boundary, choose a panel 120 cm or 150 cm high.

Is it suitable for a chicken or rabbit area?

It is used to divide the area. A 50x150 mm mesh may not fully stop small animals from getting through; if needed, we recommend adding fine wire mesh along the bottom.

Should I buy the same module for a long line?

For a flat, long line, a 250 cm wide panel of the same height is supplied depending on the project; it needs fewer posts.

Can I install it myself?

Yes. The short panels are carried by hand and attached to the posts with clamps. If you prefer, you can also use our Panel Fence Installation service.
