An enclosed area for welding, painting and maintenance work
A workshop tent is for businesses that want to move work such as welding, painting, maintenance, repair or assembly into an enclosed area outside the building. It is smaller than a factory-scale manufacturing tent and is planned for one or two workbenches, a few machines or a vehicle under maintenance. The frame is built from galvanized steel or aluminum profile, and the roof and sides are covered with PVC-coated polyester tarpaulin. We supply workshop tents; we provide the Warehouse Tent Installation service with our own crew.
Options for a Workshop Tent
- Ventilation: Opening side panels, ridge ventilation or fans are chosen so welding and paint fumes do not build up inside.
- Daylight: Translucent tarpaulin or clear panels provide more natural light at the workbench during the day.
- Partition: A partition curtain separates the welding, painting and assembly sections, so welding sparks and dust do not reach the painting area.
- Door: If vehicles will enter for maintenance, a sliding tarpaulin door or roller shutter is chosen.
Before installation
Keep the welding bench away from the tarpaulin and place a spark curtain around the welding point; tarpaulin is a textile product. The frame is selected according to the snow and wind loads calculated for the project location. Article 5 of Turkish Zoning Law No. 3194 also classifies temporary and movable facilities as structures. Before installing the tent, check with your municipality or your organized industrial zone management.
