Extra covered space for pallets and stock
A warehouse tent lets a business that has outgrown its building keep pallets, stock, raw materials or finished goods in a covered area. The frame is built from galvanized steel or aluminum profile, and the top and sides are closed with PVC-coated polyester tarpaulin. Jidar Group supplies warehouse tents, and we provide the Warehouse Tent Installation service with our own team.
The size of a warehouse tent is determined by how the goods will move. The aisle where the forklift turns, the height of the stacks or racks and, if trucks will pull in, the door size directly affect the tent's span and side wall height. That is why a quote starts not with a tent size but with information about the goods to be stored and the vehicles.
Options for Warehouse Tents
- Stacking height: Side wall height is chosen according to the rack or stack height and the forklift's lift height.
- Door: Sliding tarpaulin door, roller shutter or sectional door options are available. Give the door size based on the largest vehicle that will enter.
- Ground: On concrete floors the frame is anchored with dowels and anchor plates, and on soil or compacted aggregate with stakes.
- Snow and wind: Frame sections are chosen according to the snow and wind load calculated for the project's location.
Before you set it up
In Türkiye, Article 5 of Zoning Law No. 3194 also counts temporary and mobile facilities as structures. Consult your municipality or organized industrial zone management before setting up the tent.
For a quote, send the dimensions of the site, the ground type, the goods to be stored, the stacking height and the vehicles that will pass through the door. If you want to protect vehicles or construction machinery, see the Hangar Tents page; for a production line, see the Manufacturing Tent page. Other models are in the Warehouse Tent category.
