A fixed roof over your seating area
A garden gazebo tent is a shade structure set up over a seating area in a garden or on a terrace, with its posts anchored to the ground and its roof covered with tarpaulin. It is used in villa gardens, hotel and restaurant terraces, parks and picnic areas, and residential complex gardens. The frame is steel or aluminum, and the cover is PVC-coated polyester tarpaulin.
Unlike a patio umbrella, it stays in place. It is not folded and put away every evening; a permanent seating set, lighting and side curtains can be added under it.
Options for a Garden Gazebo Tent
- Roof shape: Pyramid or gable roof; the size is based on the seating area.
- Side curtains: Can be left open or closed with tarpaulin or clear curtains. The curtains are closed on cool evenings and windy days.
- Custom frame: For areas with non-standard dimensions, the frame is made to the project through our Steel Construction Fabrication service.
Ground and permit
The gazebo is fixed to wooden decking, concrete or stone paving with anchor bolts and base plates; on soil, a concrete footing is poured under each post. Restaurants and hotels need a municipal permit to install one on a sidewalk or public land. In apartment and residential complex gardens, check the building management rules. If you will put lighting or a heater under the gazebo, run the power line before the groundwork is finished.
If you are looking for a wall-mounted shade that opens and closes, see the Bat Wing Awning page; for a wide freestanding shade on posts, see the Freestanding Awning page. Other models are in the Architectural Tents category. For a quote, send us the dimensions of the area.
