A long-term sales area outside the building
A store tent is a sales area set up in the outdoor space of a store, plant nursery or home improvement store that stays in place for a long time. It creates an enclosed section where products are displayed, customers walk around and even the checkout can be inside. PVC-coated polyester tarpaulin is stretched over a steel or aluminum frame.
What sets it apart from a sales tent put up for a few weeks for a campaign is its duration. Because a store tent is used for months or all year, ground anchoring, doors, lighting and electrics are planned from the start for long-term use. In plant nurseries and garden stores, side walls with clear windows are used together with open sections so the plants get light.

Permits for long-term use
Article 5 of Turkish Zoning Law No. 3194 also classifies temporary and movable facilities as structures. For a sales tent that will stay in place for months, consult your municipality's zoning department; the zoning status of the plot where it will be installed determines the permit.
