Spine-yarn grass for football pitches
Pro Odin Artificial Grass is a long-pile model we offer for football pitches and small-sided pitches. Its yarn is a spine-profile monofilament; yarn count is 12,000 dtex and yarn thickness is 320 micron. Pile height is in the 55 mm – 60 mm range. Color options are light green, dark green and mixed.
In a spine-profile yarn, a ridge runs along the full length of the middle of the yarn. This ridge shapes the yarn and helps it stand upright. In long-pile football turf, the yarn is the part that stays above the sand and granule infill; it is the surface the player sees and the ball touches.
